There is a lot of information about Isaac Horner available at Ancestry.com and FamilySearch. I would like to know if anyone has been able to document his ancestry or descendency. I am researching Daniel Horner b. 29 May 1820 IL, NY or PA and d. 3 Dec 1892 Fillmore Co., MN. He married about 1840 Annie Mohler (surname not proven) prob. Winnebago Co., MN. He was the son of Isaac Horner and Mary. Isaac was b. 4 Jan 1797 prob. Monogahela, PA. In 1797, was Monogahela in Allegheny or Washington Co.? His wife Mary, surname not yet known, was born 15 Dec 1790 in PA and d. 17 May 1886 in Fillmore Co., MN. They had nine children, Daniel was the oldest. According to online sources, Isaac's father was Isaac b. about 1764 and d. Feb 1849 Monongahela Co., VA. His mother was Zilpha or Zelpha b. about 1766 and was supposedly Native American. This Isaac's father was also Isaac b. 1 Apr 1732 New Hanover, Burlington Co., NJ whose wife was Mary Potts. This Isaac's father was also Isaac b.17 Apr 1678 Tadcaster, York, England and d. Bordentown, Burlington Co., New Jersey 24 Nov 1760. His wife was Elizabeth Sykes. Yesterday I looked at Hinshaws Quaker encyclopedias for New Jersey but could not find any information on these Isaac Horners. I'm going to go back to the library tonight and look at the volume for New York. One record I found through FamilySearch gives the father of the last Isaac as John Horner whose wife was Mary Pearson.
