    3. Dear [email protected], Best name I could find in your email. I am not sure I am the "Bob" you want, but I can provide a "little" info, that seems to fit your Barzilla HORNER. I will place this as a Microsoft Word attachment, so as not to loose format, but recognize that the Rootsweb Mail Lists will not handle attachments. If any copy recipients want a copy of this one page, please just send me an email, off List, and I'll forward the attachment. I am happy to share my research and extractions with HORNER Researchers. I laid my HORNER work aside about a year ago, and family health problems have just not allowed me to pick the HORNER's back up. I have a lot of info, but still need to get it organized---which I will eventually. In the mean while, perhaps this will help a bit? Your 1772 Barzilla looks possibly to be the son of Lucretia? Anyone have any idea who the father was? Robert A. 2. Dear Bob & Horner list; Yes, I am interrested in Barzillia Horner information. I understand there was another, older Barzillia, born about 1772, that lived around the Burlinington/Ocean Co. area in NJ. Again, mine was born about 1814 according to Indiana census records and a marriage certificate that I aquired from Brown County IN. He was about 68 years when he married the 2nd time and died he died 1 May 1892 at age 78. I am sure this other Barzillia was either his uncle or closely related. I have been pointed toward Charles & Alice Horner being my Barzillia's parents, but why would he have listed John & Rachel as his parents (from Ireland) on his 2nd marriage certificate? There was a John Horner who came to southern IN. **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps! 3. Ed, I passed your message on to my friend Jeannie Matthews. She was quite excited . She evidently has some of the information that you mentioned but not all of it. I am sure she will be contacting you soon. It is fun to help a person make a new contact. Maybe this will be the spark that gets here started again. She lost her 2 twin sons, one at 35 and one about 50 with cancer, and her husband a couple years ago, and seems to have lost interest in many things. I know she wants to leave a history of the family to her one surviving daughter and the grandchildren she has from her sons. Maybe you are the one that reignites that spark in her life. 3. Hi Eleanor, Yes, I am very familiar with John Abram Waymire and have much info on him. Clarissa Arbro was one of his wives, married in Logansport, IN in 1838 and probably the grandmother of your friend. There is a book out named "Thunder Over the Chocos" that gives and account of the many hardships and perils of the 1845 Wagon Train to Oregon. Many lives were lost. John is mentioned several times as he was one of the leaders and also a scout with the train. I also have an account of his deliverance from violent epileptic seizures and his remarkable conversion to Christianity. He is credited with Portland becoming a seaport and I have a copy of the photo of the monument in Portland to that effect. My common ancestor with your friend is her g grandfather, John Rudolph Waymire, who arrived from Germany in 1753. If your friend is interested I'll send you or her info on the source of all of the Waymire family history, dating back several generations in Germany, complete with all documentation from Germany and pictures taken in Germany.
