Subject: Fw: Letter from God to Women. If you ever look at yourself and feel that you don't measure up, read this and your outlook will change before you finish reading it! This is good to keep, not just to read from time to time, but to also keep stored in your heart! Enjoy, and remember who you are... LETTER FROM GOD TO WOMEN When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you. Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone, I shaped you.... I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side. You are my perfect angel.....You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart. Your eyes......don't change them. Your lips-how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose, so perfect in form. Your hands so gentle to touch I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep. I've held your heart close to mine. Of all that lives and breathes, you are most like me. Adam walked with me in the cool of the day, yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you; my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support. You are special because you are an extension of me. Man represents my image, woman my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God. So man......treat women well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile.
Hi, I'm tracing my family tree back through the Horner line. My grandmother was Mary Anna HORNER who was born April 05, 1873 in Newcastle-on-Tyne and moved out to New Zealand when she was just a few months old. Her parents were John Pearson HORNER born Oct. 29 1848 in Aldborough and died abt. 1917 in New Zealand and Agnes Elizabeth THOMPSON born abt 1851 in London and died abt 1897 in New Zealand. The whole family sailed on the Chile August 13, 1873 from Southampton. (I have the ticket). Parents of John Pearson HORNER were George Horner born abt. 1822 (don't know where) and Maria Pearson born abt. 1819 (don't know where). They were married May 02, 1843 at Aldborough Church. If anyone has anything they could add I would be very grateful. Thanks Warwick Beadle Tracing BEADLE HORNER THOMPSON HALLIDAY COSTLEY PEARSON

Thank you Diane for the addy. I'm sure I would like a copy now. I can't say for sure who Williams parents are just yet. William Harrison Horner was born in 1795 in Tennessee and he arrived in Dunklin Co., Mo in 1832. The town of Hornersville was incorporated in 1896. His brother's name was Russell that came a little later. There is very little info on Russell. Thanks for the information. Betty
AN OLD CITIZEN DEAD Mrs. Temperance Neel died at her home near Hornersville, Oct 26 at the age of 92. Her maiden name was Horner, her father, being a pioneer of Dunklin County. Her husband of James P. Neel, a brother of Thomas Neel, the first white child born in what is now Dunklin County. when she came here a child of twelve years, this county was a wilderness, and she saw it grow into a place of homes, schools, churches and civilization. She out lived three generations. Men, old today were born after she attained womanhood. Of her several children, but one is alive, Mrs Matt Hardwick of Hornersville. One son was the late Bud (T.R.) Neel, Once assessor of this county, whose widow lives here. For fifty years "Aunt Tempa" as she was affectionately called, was Baptist, and she died in the faith. The funeral, under the direction of Rev. R.D. McKinnies, was held on the 27th at the cemetery below Hornersville, where so many of her kin and friends are at rest. >From the Daily Dunklin Democrat - 1910
