Hello, I'm looking for information on a Capt. Joseph Hooker m. Sarah Lewis. He's supposed to be direct descent of Thos. Hooker, founder of Hartford. Through Capt. Joseph's son, Noadiah comes down to Elizabeth Daggett Hooker m. Hon. Frances Gillette. Elizabeth & Frances are the parents of William Hooker Gillette. I have plenty of info. on Wm. Gillette himself, I grew up near his home in East Haddam, CT. I believe Capt. Joseph is son of James Hooker, s/o Samuel Hooker & Mary Williett. I have not been able to find anything on James Hooker's children. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Carol
