Heart trouble has been so rampant in the US over the past several decades that it appears to be more from our diet and the stress of our lifestyle - in countries where people eat more butter, etc., and take more tiem eating, but havve less stressful lifestyles there are a lot fewer heart attacks - I think genetics could play a part if it is a heart disease or defect more than just a heart attack - caused by high cholesterol and/or high BP.
