Hi, Yes I did see that, in fact we think that Jacob we (I and Richard) feel is the brother to my Robert Hooker who moved to Clark Co., IN in about 1808. However since the descendants of the Robert's family that I've contacted aren't interested in doing a DNA, we can't know for sure. DARN!!! How are you connected??? Are you asking Joy this question below?? I think you remember we used to correspond about the Randolph Co.,NC Hookers thinking they were related to the VA Hookers (Patrick Co) and maybe to my line of 6 Hooker brothers (the 5 oldest b in NC between 1777-1787). Celeste, I'm sorry I didn't put it in the subject line but I was asking you to resend the e-mail on the Randolph, NC Hookers but the Joy sent an e-mail and I responded to hers. I promise to be much more careful next time. Please forgive me. Yes, I certainly do remember we have corresponded about the Randolph Co., NC Hooker families and you were very helpful and I enjoyed our correspondence. We did come to the conclusion that mine probably came from VA. I'm finding the Q hg designation very interesting in light of the documented early SIZEMORE/HOOKER relationship! http://www.genpage.com/history_surname.html Joy ----- Original Message ----- From: treesearcher@rushmore.com To: hooker@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, September 28, 2007 4:37 PM Subject: Re: [HOOKER] DNA Results/Atten treesearcher/Linda Hi, Yes I did see that, in fact we think that Jacob we (I and Richard) feel is the brother to my Robert Hooker who moved to Clark Co., IN in about 1808. Joy, I haven't had a chance to totally read the story on the Sizemore/Hooker line but in my Hooker family William and Elizabeth both seem to be carried on down. I've heard that we do have the Indian ancestry in our background but never knew if it was male or female. How do you connect with Jacob Hooker? Have you been in touch with Richard?
