    3. Have not posted in a while on the "6 Hooker brothers", all but one b NC between 1777 and the 1780s. Wondered if any new list memebers might have connections to these 6 brothers. Their names were: Thomas (b c 1777 in NC), Wm. (b in the late 1770s in NC), Samuel (b c 1783 in NC), Robert (b c 1786 in NC - he stated b TN sometimes), George (b 1787 in NC) and the youngest John (b 1792 in TN). These brothers were in TN, KY, and AL (early 1800s), and their children and g-children (mid-late 1800s) in AL, MS, LA, AR, and TX. We are finding and documenting their children and g-children in all these states; one or two even went into IN and IL in the mid-late 1800s. This line seems to be related to the line from VA, some of whom left VA and went into Washington Co., TN c 1830 (which includes Charlottes Esom (b VA c 1796) and a John Hooker (b VA 1797) who later went into AL and MS. And might include some earlier Hookers in Clay and Knox Co., KY who went to that area directly from VA before 1830. Anyone who might have connections to the father of Esom and John mentioned above (b in VA in 1796 and 97) - their father was probably the Samuel living in 1820 next to Esom in Patrick Co.,VA or to any of the 6 brothers listed above, please reply. Also, still interested in any early VA Hooker lines. Celeste adellaholly@yahoo.com test'; "> ____________________________________________________________________________________ Need Mail bonding?
