Linda, Have you thought to see if your Hookers are listed on any 1925 state census records? This isn't going to help you with your early Hooker family but at least on the Iowa 1925 state census records you can find out the parents of the person. It gives the fathers name and the mother's maiden name also. Just a thought. Linda
