I have never found out who that was, but of course our line of 6 brothers contains a Robert as does the Randolph Co., NC line. This is one of the names that ties those lines to Patrick Co., VA Hookers. Robert is not a typical Hooker given name. When this info was psoted before we tried to figure out who Robert was - does he relate to the Wm (b c 1755 in NC)/Gabriel line of Patrick co/.VA Hookers and does that line relate to the Samuel/Esom/John line (Charlotte's line). The name Esom does seem to connect the Wm (b c 1755) and married to Jerusha line of Stokes Co.,NC (Jesse's son James Esam Hooker b 1843) and the VA (b c 1796) Esom, probable son o fSAmuel and brother of John b c 1797 in VA.. Ask Darrell about that Robert as he is working in records from that area of VA right now. Celeste --- Jmw1431@aol.com wrote: > Thank you so much for that.
