Hi, I don't know anything about the southern Hookers (I descend from Joseph Hooker of Mass.) but I recognize the Swain name. My Quaker Hayes family in Chester County, PA, had connections to the Swains. The Swains were early settlers in PA and DE. Joan Hersey Olsson
