Hello Listees! I'm a newcomer with a Hooker in the family tree who has been watching this list for a month or so now. I'm at a loss to figure out what this list is for. Can someone help me? So far it's just been a forum of communication between people who obviously know each other. The messages they post seem to be to individuals instead of to a list or researchers. Why is this being done on a list? What do I care if Kyle sends a message to Hal or vice versa? If they know each other's email address, why not send directly? What gives? I must be missing something here. I haven't seen anything remotely related to researching the HOOKER name except for insiders relating stuff I can't for the life of me figure out.
