I am seeking information regarding Amon HOOKER. In 1830, Amon/Aman/Alman is found in Lewis, Essex Co, NY. In 1834, it appears that he purchased land in Brownstown Twp, Wayne Co, MI. He shows up in the 1850 Vermontville, Eaton Co, MI census at age 54. His birthplace is listed as VT (a Ralph HOOKER, age 58, also shows up in his household).
