I am looking for information on Hymerick Hooker (about 1753-1814) and his children of Dobbs/Greene Co. NC. He evidently had John and Thomas before 1792 (mentioned in John Phillips will as grandsons) mother Elizabeth Phillips and later by 1807 they had William, Mary said to have married Rev. John Thomas Rogers (1787-1826) in Edgecombe Co. NC in 1814, Hymerick, Jr and Nathan (1793-1848) who may be the one married to Julia Wright (1802-1873). He is also said to have married Sallie Lassiter but this would have to be before 1790 or after 1807. He is listed in 5 DAR applications as married to Sallie but so far have found no proof.
