Pat, I never did thank you for your data concerning Robert Hooker. My greatgrandfather was Presley Laffayette Hooker, Robert's youngest child. previously I had little knowledge of P.L.'s parents. P.L. was married twice. His second wife, my greatgrandmother was Kathryn Oversreet. I met a young woman at Fort Knox in 1965 named Gwen Hooker. It is possible that her grandfather was a son of P.L. Hooker's by his first marriage. If she is out there somewhere I would enjoy re-establishing contact.
