I am looking for the parents of Jeremiah Hooker b. 29 Mar 1810, South Carolina (possibly North Carolina) d. 14 Feb 1893, Browning, Missouri (Sullivan County), Age: 82 bur. Hooker Cemetery (Browning, Missouri [Linn County]) occ. Farmer & Teacher. Jeremiah was married to Mary Brookshire b. 20 Aug 1810, North Carolina d. 20 May 1888, Linn County, Missouri, Age: 77 bur. Hooker Cemetery (Browning, Missouri [Linn County]). Jeremiah moved to Linn County Missouri around 1835 from Tennessee. I have located a will (25 Februrary 1829) of a William Fowler from Rutherford County, Tennesse. He left his grandson, Jeremiah Hooker property. His only daughter was A. J.? Fowler. I am ASSUMING that she married Jeremiah's father, Unknown Hooker. Jeremiah Hooker and his wife Mary Brookshire had 11 children. Elizabeth Jane "Jane" Hooker, William Hooker, John Beckett Hooker, Julia Ann Hooker, Ruth Ann Hooker, James Thomas Hooker, Amanda F. Hooker, Enoch M. Hooker, Mary Hooker, Martha Ann Hooker, & Rachel Hooker.
