Help! I have posted once before but to no avail. I read every post in hopes of connecting to someone out there. Here is my family information: Samuel Hooker, born in 1797 in Maryland, parents unknown, marries a SARAH SHULL in OHIO, sometime aroun 1826-28. They have 9 children, Martha, Orpha, Samuel (my grandfather), Sarah C., Lusetta, Mary S. Louisa M., Rachael E. and John, all born between 1828-1849. My SAMUEL HOOKER marries a Maranda Lydy in 1854, and he fights in the Civil War out of OHIO. Maranda dies in Oct. 1865, Samuel never remarries. They had 4 sons, Henry 1855, William 1858, Horace 1859, and Jesse (mine) 1862. Samuel dies in 1908 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. JESSE HOOKER marries a EMMA WIGGINTON in 1883 and they have 2 daughters, maybe more, but I doubt it. Margaret 1885 (mine) and Miranda 1887. Jesse dies in 1895, Emma dies in 1907, in Ohio. MARGARET HOOKER married GEORGE EDWIN CRABLE in 1903 and they had what we believe to be 4 children 3 daughters and 1 son, my grandfather, RICHARD HOOKER CRABLE in 1905. Can anyone out there connect to me? We have many brickwalls with this name and would love to find out more. I am willing to share anything that I have with you.
