Hi Hal, Elma and the HOOKER list: Just read your post on Samuel HOOKER and I was wondering in your searches for Smuel Hooker if you had run across a Samuel HOOKER born about 1851. He would have been considerably younger than your Samuel but my Samuel was the first child of Henry Broadway and Matilda Jeffcoat Hooker and was probably born in either Columbia or Richmond County Georgia. He had two brothers and two sisters : Arrenna who married Alex Wren; Barnette who married Ida Hickman; Ervin (my grandfather) who married Guelma Gleaton and Mary Idella who married William Henry Burch.
