I am trying to learn more about a SARAH HOOKER, who married a JOHN P. MORRIS. Their only son, ALFRED WILLIAM MORRIS, was born 6-11-1821 in MS, and it is said that when his parents died, he left MS and came to TX. ALFRED WILLIAM MORRIS, mar. in 1845 in TX, MATILDA PALMER/PARMER, daughter of MARTIN PALMER (signer of Texas Declaration of Independence, as Martin Parmer, insteat of Palmer). I have not been able to find the parents of ALFRED WILLIAM MORRIS. Relatives say that Alfred, was an only child, but, it could be that he was an only child of that particular marriage, and John P.
