Dear Gordon, I am not actively searching the Hookers (from my mother's side) since I can't seem to quit finding my father's ancestors! (Not really complaining!) But I have collected quite a bit of information just here and there. Your query brought to my attention a weird thing I have in my data base. I have two Margaret Hookers who both married a Lewis. Obviously, I have made an error some where! But this is what I have. William Hooker b.ca 1670 James City Island, VA married Bridget Foyer daughter Margaret who married ______ Lewis (This is verified by mention of her and her married name in William's will.) son William II b. ca 1690 Kent, VA married Ann daughter Margaret who married Isaac Lewis (Can this be correct?) I do have a third Margaret Parthenia Hooker b. 1839 whose parents were Nathan Hooker and Julia Ann Wright, but she is too late for your Margaret. I would love to know if you figure this all out and find anything new. I would be happy to share the info I have and my sources with you.
