    1. [HOOKER-L] Re: HOOKER
    2. Nadine - yes I have the Percy Hooker chart, which I got from Kyle. I met Kyle while he was doing research in Raleigh a few weeks ago, we had a very nice conversation. To clear up the confusion, my line is as follows, presumed: All in NC William II ( will Bertie 1757 ) James ( d Hertford Co. 1778 )+ Zilpha Spruill Samuel C. ( will Greene 1822 ) + Mary Blanchard Hardy ( d Greene 1831-1839 ) + Nancy Freeman Ann E ( d Greene 1861) + Isaac Jordan ( d Greene 1861 ) Charles Marion Jordan + Sophia Faulkner The above Nancy Freeman ( 1797-1872 ), who m Hardy Hooker was the dau of John and Nancy Freeman who also owned property along Rainbow Cr. in Greene Co., she ( Nancy wife of John Freeman ) might well have been a Hooker, as their first and apparently, only son was John Hooker Freeman ( b 1794 ). He maried Penelope Sugg and had issue, but none named George to match the one you mentioned in your last post. The information on the Freemans comes from a transcription of a family bible record contained in " Geneological Links from Eastern NC " by Lewis Allen Churchhill at the NC Archives. Am back on Hookers again and will keep my eye open for William. I am assuming he is the William mentioned in the Greene Co. Tax list for 1816 and it seems logical that he is the son of Heymerick I.
