Hi Listees, I just thought I would tell you that in accordance with unanimous aggreement I have altered the list so that replies go back to the list. Technically this is overridden if you send messages to the list with your own "reply to line" which will take precendence. THis list has under a hundred members and as such replies to the list are not burdensome. However just for your own knowledge, I also made this change yesterday to the ANDERSON list with over 600 members and today we experienced 20 messages arguing over a URL, 5 nondescript polite thankyous, and a partridge in a pear tree, which is the kind of thing that always worried me. So I switched the ANDERSON list back. So as long as this list is still small we will run with replies to the list However the point of this message is to remind you that your responses go to the whole list so: 1) stay on topic of family genealogy 2) any extraneous THANK YOUS I see will be assumed to be directed at me:) Patrick Anderson
