I have a typed copy of the will of William Hooker died 1717 in Chowan Co. NC and one also of William Hooker who died in Bertie Co. NC 1757. In the 1757 will says his daughter Ann married Jacob Lassiter. Is this the same Jacob Lassiter who went to Dobbs Co. NC with William, her brother, and perhaps other Hooker family members? William III had a son Hymerick according to the 1769 Dobbs tax list. did he have other children? My main focus at this time is to determine if the Jacob Lassiter who married Ann Hooker went to Dobbs (later Greene) NC and if Hymerick Hooker married Sallie Lassiter (maybe the daughter of Jacob and Ann) and who were their children. I need DOCUMENTED SOURCES, I have too much hearsay already. Rose Parks
