    1. Re: [HOOKER] Help with Zebulons

    3. Beau, I see you aready have had a response about Zebulon Vance Hooker. According to my book, PARKER AND BLOUNT IN FLORIDA, p.355, Zebulon Vance Hooker was born May 29, 1890 and died Nov. 15, 1966. He was the son of William Henry "Billie" Hooker and Mahala Clementine (Langford) Hooker. I have the line back to William Hooker I, who d. in Chowan Pct., Albemarle Co., NC, ca. 1717. I have checked my original source and I find that the information was provided in 1972 by Martha Hooker Atkinson of West Palm Beach, FL. She was a niece of Zebulon Vance Hooker and she said that Vance, as he was known, died in Lake Worth, FL, of a stroke and was the father of four children. The wife is listed as "Howard Stevens" which certainly needs to be checked out. I would suggest that you obtain the death certificate of Zebulon Vance Hooker. Lake Worth is in Palm Beach County, FL. If you tie into this line, I have a lot of great information for you.
