Larry, This is really amazing. Another Thomas Hooker, b. ca. 1777. I believe you said he was on the 1850 census for Franklin Co., AL. First, let me clarify something I said in a message to the list yesterday. Obviously, the "second" Thomas, b. ca. 1777/79, was married to Sarah Walker, not Elizabeth Walker, and it was after his death that the widow and children moved to Texas. After re-examining Malcolm Hooker's book next week I should have more data on his family. I will also see if there is any reference to your line in the Malcolm Hooker book.
