Hi, Now that the Hooker Mail List is so active, I was hoping that some of you out there could give me information on Robert Hooker who was born about about 1815 in Indiana. He married Rachel McGuire 15 Oct. 1838 in Ripley Co., IN. Their childrens names were Lucinda, Dicy, Elizabeth Jane, William Harrison, Odom, Mary, Robert Henry, Martha E., Elijah, Jesse, Millon, Samantha. Mary married William Osborne and on their marriage license it had Robert named as James, so his name is either Robert James Hooker or James Robert Hooker. Does anyone have information on Robert's parents & siblings? I do think the information on William that was recently given us is wonderful, I can only hope that I will be able to document my Robert close to what has been done on William. Again, if anyone out there can find Roberts parents, I would really appreciate it. Linda
