I too am intereseted in the wife of William (died Chowan 1717) I have a deed of about 1715 in which Ann is mentioned but nothing earlier. And have heard of this Bridget Foye/Foyer. Is there a good source for this? Know they had a daughter Bridget. And after looking at the sources in # 3, where can I find a copy of Percy Hooker's manuscript? I am especially interested in what he has on William III in Dobbs and descendants. Charles R. Holloman had a file in the William L. Murphy Collection recently put into Joyner Library, Greenville which helped. (and Hal Jordon helped a lot) In a Lassiter item found recently, it said that Ann Hooker and Jacob Lassiter were first cousins.(Of course it didn't say HOW!) One item said William II wife was Sarah Lassiter, but she would have had to been oldest in family and Jacob youngest in a large family to fit the approx. dates. Any ideas?
