Great to see all the activity. Maybe someone out there can help me. My gg grandfather was William N. Hooker, born about 1812 in TN. He is listed in the 1850 Franklin County AL census with his wife Eliza (age 34 also born TN) and children Mary (14, AL), Martha (12,AL), Franklin (10,AL), Armsted (8, AL), Eleanor?(6, AL), Henry (4,AL) and Thomas (1,AL). On the next census page is listed a Thomas Hooker (73, NC) and Sarah Hooker (67, VA). Could htese possibly be the parents of William N. Hooker? William N. was dead by the 1850 census and his wife had remarried John English. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Larry Hooker
