I am sending this email to several lists so if I have duplicated to anyone I apologize, just use the delete key please!! Rarely do I have an opportunity to "give back" to those people who so very generously have helped me over the past few years in my search for my family. I have come into possession of 2 books which may or may not be able to help others in their search. So, I am offering to do lookups for anyone who would like the books searched for their family. All I ask is that you be patient because I work outside the home 8 hours a day and my online time is limited to after work and weekends. But I do promise I will get back to everyone who asks. The books I have are as follows: "Christian Index Obituaries" Published by "The Christian Index" Compiled by Mary McKeown Overby for The Georgia Baptist Historical Society Depository, Macon GA I have 2 books, the first one covers the years 1822-1879 and was compiled by Ms. Overby in 1975. The second book covers the years 1880-1899 and was compiled by Ms. Overby in 1982. These books have many, many surnames in them.
