Hello Charlotte, Do you have any information before James Hooker b. 1827? My James M. Hooker had a son William that was born 1830 in KY and a lot of your names coinside with mine after that time. My problem is before 1830 I just can't find out who James' parents were -- all I know is he was born in NC James' wife was Jemima Catherine and went by Catherine.
