We are trying to find the immigrant ancestors of Henry Hooker, b. ca 1683, and of General Joseph Hooker of Civil War fame. We have found no reliable connection to Rev. Thomas Hooker of Hartford CT. Is it possible that General Joe and Henry have the same roots? Does anyone out there have the good General's ancestry? Carole in Portland, OR
