Sorry that this below posted to the list again - the original e-mail was atten: Charlotte about Esom and someone answered it on the list but not you, Charlotte. The answer was not pertaining to Esom and I was confused!! I was returning that e-mail and thought it was going to that person but it went back to the list??!! I do not understand this e-mail you wrote below in response to the Hooker list post I made as I wrote to Charlotte to see if a Dustin had written to her about her Esom - the Eson who is brother to John b c 1797 in VA. I just went through a lot of my Hooker info - seems as if I do remember a Taylor at some point. I found and sent Lezlie the info you set me about her Van and his family in Jan 2007 . The Issac V Hooker who married Tennessee was your (George's son) James N's son, right?? So you are a little more closely related to her M-in-law than I am!! I had a good b-day. 20 people came to my Labor Day/B-day party. Am planning to continue to celebrate - probably all month!! Be glad when you get back home!! She was the daughter of James William or William James HOOKER and his wife, Lucinda Williams HOOKER. Nancy's married name was Agee, not Ages, so I was happy to learn her true name. Hi Adella, this is very interesting. I am only repeating what I was told by others. Joseph may not have been a Rev. at all. I also read last night that he was an indentured servant who claimed kinship to Rev. Thos. Same for the German line. I was told that it was the third line and last night I read that a German line came to the US in the 1800s. So I am not sure what to believe or know. What I do know is that I just want to know who Stephen G. Hookers parents are for sure and then I can just trace back. I sure hope they are Stephen and Abigail Hooker.
