Jan, I have a John Franklin Holt born in 1792 in North Carolina,USA and died October 20, 1855. He married Hannah Stephenson November 25, 1817 in Rutherford,USA daughter of William Stephenson and Elizabeth Patrick. She was born September 13, 1798 in Georgia, and died 1878. John's sister is Sarah Holt, born abt 1800, Georgia: died abt. 1848, Washington, Arkansas. their mother and father seem to be at this point a james holt born 1755 and he married a Sarah.
