Several children of a William N. Holt and Martha Cunningham removed to Hill and Ellis Co., TX from Limestone Co., AL/Giles Co., TN stateline area in the early 1880's. I know that a Henry L. Holt b. ca 1853 who married a Lucy Cleveland in Limestone Co., AL in 188 moved to either Ellis or Hill Co. soon aftr they were married. Henry had a brother George P. Holt b. ca 1854 married to Martha D. Stephenson who also moved to either Ellis or Hill Co. Another brother D.D. Holt b ca 1884-1860 also removed to Texas probably to Ellis or Hill Counties. What are the dates of birth/death of your Holts and from what states did they migrate to TX?

Hi, I descend from James M. Holt married to Mary Ann Marsh, had son Elias William Holt. They migragrated to Hill county Tx from Dickson county TN. Am looking for his father. Mothers name was Margret Patsy Holt (maiden name Holt also). Might you have any information?
