I do know that he married Susanna Hitchen at St. Mary, Bury, Lancashire, England on October 13, 1844. According to information passed down he had a brother William and a sister Mary. There may have been a brother named James also. I believe there were others. He had six children: James born 1845 Benjamin Franklin born 1856 Thomas Hoyle born 1858 Mary Ellen born 1862 Lawrence Collinge born 1864 Florence Elener born 1867 Grandma told me that she thought that Hoyle was a maiden name of someone in the family. I have often wandered about the name Collinge. Thomas settled in Rosefield Township, Peoria County. Any connection?
