Thanks Robert for the posting from James Holt. It doesn't apply to my HOLT family but I hope you have helped someone else. I am looking for the parents of ELISHA HOLT, born about 1802 in NC. Sometime before 1827 he migrated into GA. Some think he came as a child with his parents but he could have come as a young man. He married Parthenia Bustre in Henry Co, GA 1827 and lived out his life in Fayette and Clayton Counties. He left a Will. Much is known about him after his marriage but nothing before then. Seeking to exchange information with anyone working on Elisha Holt. He may be son of either Arrington or Thomas Holt (thought to be brothers) who lived in Washington Co, GA in early 1800s.
