I have not come across the names Charles or William. John Edwin HOLT (Jolly): born out of wedlock in 1859 to Margaret JOLLY, father John HOLT Parents of John HOLT are James and Sarah (nee Syddall). John and John Edwin ended up in Scotland on the 1881 Census and some of John Edwin's offspring emigrated to Canada. I'm stuck right now. Can't find information on John HOLT or his parents James and Sarah. Let me know if this rings a bell with any of your research. Good luck. Leslie
