His family was John Wiley so he ran across these army things on john Wiley widow Elizabethe Jane and sent them to me. I had left word at the court house in Golconda that when someone comes in asking about the Wiley Holt Metcalf etc. to please pass on my address and name. I am begining to wonder if some how Allen and MaryAnn Caroline Metcalf were related they could have been and had to go out of state to get married. They were in Missouri at one time; I believe that's where Elizabeth was born. My ex sister in law found out that. Nancy it wasn't Elizabeth born in Missouri i think it was Matilda B.Holt she was listed on a census as the daughter of Allen and Maryann. Now my grandma had an Aunt thta was supposed to be a Beatrice Holt Graves I think that's her last name from southern IL. I was gonna ask Uncle Arlet when I go down. I also was going to look for her obit. You see Mary Graves is listed on my grandma Nellie Wiley's delayed birth certificate as Nellie's cousin so I then found out that Mary' mom was a beatrice Holt. My problem is I can't get down to southern IL to do research and no on to watch kids. Could you send this reply to me on my regular e-mail I like to never found this one again. I will try to get a complete history on Absolum Metcalf the cherokee indian I think is related to our Metcalf's. Nancy my grandma and grandpa was cousins there were related through the Metcalf family. Grandpa Elmer's grandma was Martha Amanda Metcalf beleived to be sister to Maryann Caroline Metcalf Grandma to Nellie Wiley Williamson. Also my grandpa Elmer had an aunt named Martha Olive Metcalf Williamson married Geo. Washington Williamson in southern IL. How's that for keeping it in the family? Did you ever find any kids from Amos and Ella Collins marriage? I think they had some because they were married for 6 years. My computer is refusing to use capital letters. My aunt Irene Williamson was related to Mary Graves and so her and Chster were cousins. So was my uncle Albert and aunt Louise Bell Williamson. Did you ever get complete list of Amos and Alice's kids? Because they had a Maude and Mahayla different names. My mom was named Rhoda Beatrice Williamson.
