Adams 22 Oct 1846 Rhea County, Tennessee The only Mary I could find that even closely matched the one living with David is: 1850 District 10, Wayne County, Tenneessee Ambrose Holt, 77, 1773, NC Mary, 73, 1777, Nc Ambrose, 14, 1836, Tn and if you follow them into: 1860 District 10, Wayne County, Tennessee Census taken 28 Jun 1860 Ambrose Holt, 87, 1773, NC Polly, 81, 1779, NC (Ambrose could possibly be Ambers) The above could possibly be Mary, because David's mother Mary is a widow in Aug 1860, Ambrose could have died after Jun 28 and Mary had to go live with David. And then again Ambers/Ambrose may not even be a relative. ONE WORLD TREE has a tree on it that has Edmund as the father to Eliphus and his father as a Henry D. Holt, In Wayne County, Tennessee we have: Ambers Holt age 50/60 wife 50/60 1 male under 5 Keaton Holt age 30/40 A. F. Holt age 30/40 Wiliam Holt age 40/50 Benjamin Holt age 30/40 Elizabeth Holt age 50/60 all of the avove had families but I didn't see the since in posting all of that. A Eliphus Holt served in Company K, 25th Infantry Regiment for the Confederacy in Tennessee Again I'm sorry i sat on this so long. I hope it helps tie up a few loose ends.
