I've got info on Drury Holt line (there were so many Drury Holts no way to be sure you are on the right generation.) I have some info Jeannie Greenburg gave me, she died a couple years ago. I think you put me in contact with her as I recall, is that correct? About 3 years ago,ran into another woman searching Drury Holt, she turned out to be related to Jeannie. Tried to get them in contact with each other, but Lena had cancer, first breast, then brain and finally kidneys. Took her out, so I wrote Greenburg to tell her, and got a letter from Greenburg's husband, she had died also. Had C.O.P.D. and hooked on oxygen tank last few years. Jeannie had never mentioned that she was ill. So I boxed all that stuff up and keep some I see on line. I never could see the connection with Mary Polly Holt to Francis Holt & Sarah Denney line. Francis, wife Sarah Denney, sons Stephen & John, and a daughter Arzula Holt who married Joseph Allcorn all moved to Missouri and are in 1850 census. Francis died before 1860 Wright co Census, his wife was living in Stephen Holt's home with some of the Allcorn children. Other Allcorn children were living with the other son John H. Holt household. So I presume both Arzula & Joseph Allcorn dead. John H. Holt was killed by bushwhackers in 1862 and Stephen & family moved up to Arkansas during the Civil War. They came back to sign quit claim to Francis Holt property in 1868. It was being sold for taxes and the 3 Allcorn children signed the quit claim. Nothing was mentioned in any documents or info I received on them about Mary Polly Holt b Nov 1816 who married Jackson Strunk. Mary was listed as head of household in Pulaski Co. 1870 census and she and all but one of her Strunk children moved to Norwood, Mo. in 1878 where she died March 1899. She is buried in Omo Strunk cem there on a farm owned by Ethel & Bob Leach. Ethel is descended from Noah Strunk line (Noah being Mary & Jackson's son). Other sons of Mary & Jackson were Demcy, General Jackson. 3 daughters Armeldy, Artimissey & Mahulda Strunk. Artimissey & Mahulda Strunk married Sellars brothers, George & Frank, sons of Mary Ann Coffey and Henry Sellars. Mary Ann Coffey was the sister of Wm Marion Holt's father Cole Coffey. Mary & he were not married. So complicated. Drury isn't my line, I do have some material from Jeannie Greenburg and Lena McCoy. Like I said there were so many Drury Holts in the line, Drews & Andrews. Some in Indiana, some in Texas, KY. Do you have any idea which Drury you are looking for??? Greenburg sent a lot of material back in the '80's. Let me know more what you are talking about and I'll go thru and see if anything there. In fact, I may just give you the whole kit and caboodle for postage, I've been hanging on to it for 20 some years and found nothing connected to me. Kind of like Daniel Wilson Holt, I still have that material. Sorry you lost Howard, I wrote you about 2 years ago in Rogersville and got no answer but it wasn't returned either. Wando told me your husband had died. You sure did a great article on him in the Douglas Co. history book. Joyce Holt Taylor
