I know I'm descended from one Clemons Holt, who, it is said, was born in Exeter, England, in 1795. He married in about 1825 in Virginia. So far, no one seems to have any idea who his parents might be. He is said to have had at least one and maybe three siblings who came to America perhaps a year or so before he made the trip.
