Lew, I wish to express my sympathy on the loss of your brother. How sad that you and your family didn't get to see him again once he entered the war. Did he serve on the ship, Oklahoma? I seem to remember there was a Holt among those who served on that ship. I will have to recheck the Altus, Oklahoma site to make sure. "Brothers of War" reminds me of the poem "There Will Be No War On The Other Side" written by a lady in England after WW1 and published in a book written about that war by an Englishman. The poem is about a Franchman and a German who lie dying on the battlefield and they confort each other by offering the last drops of water from a water bottle and make pormises to each other that there will be no war on the other side of death. Very sad poem, but beautiful, too. All the best to you.
