My father was a "black market baby", and we believe that his father, Walter Holt, knew nothing of his existance. The Walter I am looking for spent time here in Enid Oklahoma back in the early 1940's. My father's mother's name is Mildred Crow. As far as I know, she was not married to him, and yet they had a child. She kept my dad, after they parted, for 2 years. At the age of 2, he was given up for adoption. Years later, when my dad finally met his real mother, she gave him a photo of his real father, and he and his father look exactly alike. He appears to be of Indian descent. >From what we've been able to find out thus far, Walter was a house painter back in the 40's in Enid, Oklahoma. I have searched everywhere for this man, and I have found names that match, but no other information, as I cannot afford all the fees. My father only wishes to speak to his father...just talk to someone who is a real parent of his. He's been a wandering soul all his life, because the people that adopted him didn't really want a child. He doesn't know anything about where he comes from...he is 62 now.
