Joseph Holt and his wife Mary Carter is mentioned in Durrie's well known book on the Holts. I think it may be on google...if not I can look up where I bought my cd of it. Anyway it lists his parents as: Joseph Holt and Abigail (Bean or Brian).... Mary Carter's father was Nathan... it appears she may have been widowed...lists her name as Mary Eaton..says she is from Wilmington and Joseph from Reading.
