Hi Joyce, Back home and is good to be home, my daughter from Stanwood.Washington was here when l arrived from Dallas, Texas. I meant to call you when l was there, but forgot as l only stayed two days with Gina and David, my other daughter in Flower Mound. Seems like we have all been traveling my son Howard from Henderson, Tenn. was coming in to Dallas on the day l left enroute to Hawaii with his wife Dorothy. l am glad to see you inquiry about Polly Holt...l also was interested in the Noah Strunk as this is a good indication that she may be related to my Holt line, as the Noah was handed down through out the generations..they used Noah Bradburn Holt..don't know where the Bradburn came from but assume it was a family name passed on..Daniel Wilson Holt's oldest brother was Noah B. Holt..and it could be possible that Polly was a sister of Pascal Holt as she lived in the same area as they did.. The way people with illegitimate children were treated back then was terrible and l understand that people that knew Polly Holt Strunk knew she suffered all her life from the treatment she received during her life.. Howard had a great grandmother in the same situation and she was badly intimidated to her dying day. The trip was wonderful but l am still in Jet lag, even though l slept from Barcelona, spain and then from New york to Dallas, even slept from Dallas to Springfield, Mo. on American. dalughter Cathy was here and picked me up from airport..so now have Cathy, Ron, Bradley and Christina here for another two weeks.. Mary Polly Holt married Jackson Strunk in Whitley County August 1839 and they had 3 sons, Noah; General Jackson; and Demcy Strunk. 3 daughters Artimissey who married George Sellars, Mahulda who married Frank Sellars, and Armeldy Strunk who married F.M. Vanover.
