I believe your Holts are related to my husband. His paternal great grandmother was Hannah Holt who married Dudley Davis in Callaway Co. Missoouri on April 26, 1846. I have her birth as abt. 1824 in Alabama. I have the 1870 census of Fayetteville Ar. as 43 years old, from Alabama, married to Dudley Davis (she was widowed in 1863, as far as we know, Dudley was killed in the Civil War, possibly at Vicksburg). I lists 9 male children; Thomas22 b. Mol Joseph 21 b. Ark; Saul ll b. Ark; William 8 b. Ark. Lisst Sister Margert Holt age 35 b. Mo: Joshua age31 George age 30l Samuet L. age 21 William age 18 Frank Bar Davis age 22 his wife Sarah A. Pollock Davis 17l Tobe Davis (Thomas) 32l wife Mary 22l daughter Cora 4. Frank Bar Davis is my husband's grandfather. I think Hannah's middle name was Barbara, as my husband had an aunt Hannah Barbara Davis b. Ap.28, 1884. The Frank Bar Davis family settled in Bosque Co. Texas, near Iredell. I have all of the children and their children if you are interested. Oh yes, I got really excited when I saw the mother of Eli Franklin Holt as Hanna Stephenson Holt. My mother was a Stephenson from Ohio and I am trying to trace her branch of Stephensons right now as well........June Thomas Davis in Texas
