I have a Jacob Holt my GGG Grandfather, who is listed in Sullivan Co, Tnn. He was in the War of 1812 Tenn Militia under Capt Joseph Everetts. Battle of Horse Shoe. Jacob was B 1794 in Orange Co, NC. Moved to Harrison Co, Ind, after the war and Married Jane H Boone in 1824. Jane died in 1827. Jacob then moved back to Sullivan Co, Tn where he married my GGG Grandmother Sarah A Vied. Again they moved back to Harrison Co, Ind in 1831 until 1837. Then they went to Lyon Co (Caldwell) Ky. where they lived. I have heard that Jacobs parents names where James and Lydia Holt, yet I can find no listing for a James and Lydia with a son named Jacob. Can anyone HELP Thanks Maria
