    3. As the Administrator of the Family Tree DNA Holt Surname Project, I can tell you that all the Holt immigrants did not originate from Lancs, England. I have 54 members now and have results indicating that we come from "at least" 25 distinctive Holt lines. Probably several more when all the results return.
