The book by the Holt Association is through 5 generations. There is a Nicholas which is my line and a William which is another line. Nicholas came from England on the ship James and landed in Boston in 1635. What years are the African American Holt Ancestors. It is only these two heads of family that are addressed in the book. It was re-printed by Higginsonbooks.com, without a publish date for the original. Just looked at my copy. Hope this helps. Jan
