This probably a long shot, but: 1860 Beech Creek, Ashley County Arkansas P.O. At least 1 of the older children was in Ga., which means that there could be other children older than Hardy, that could have been born in SC, such as your Thomas. Now this William disappears between 1860 and 1870, with the wife having died before 1860. I can not find Thomas and his family in the 1870 census any where. Loudusky Pitts is in Benton County, Arkansas in 1860. Do you know where Thomas and family were in 1870? Donna
Donna Thank you for the information. In 1870 Thomas Holt was in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. In 1860 census this Loudusky Pitts is also in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. She married Pinkey Albert Holt 1866 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. Thomas Holt moved to Arkansas in 1876. I appreciate the information on William Holt. I will see if I can find more information on him.
