It also shows other people who I have no idea who they are. Samson,Allen's father,is my 4 x great grandfather. Samson had another son also Samson.I am descended down through this line.If you see my tree in GR,you will see where it all fits. Have you checked the Census for the 19th.century. I can e-mail you copies if you do not have them. I also have my grandfather's birth certificate. His name was William (Frederick) Holt. He inserted Frederick after his first son,Frederick was accidently killed. Hi - I may be coming in on the ninth inning of the discussion; please forgive me if I am. I am searching for the parents of my gg-grandfather, William Stephen Holt, born in 1838 in Philadelphia, PA, married in 1867 to Frances Lewis of St. Louis, MO, 3 children, Montford, Francis, & Anna. Died under mysterious circumstances in, per a family Bible, "Texas". Could be Texas Township, Illinois, Texas County, Missouri, or the state of Texas. Bible says he died in 1874. Would anyone have anything relating to this info? Thank you for anything you may have.
